Most operators spend enormous time and money managing their coffee programs while facing rising costs and shrinking margins. The supply chain is broken. OWASIS was built to fix it.
Sourcing from multiple suppliers with no consistent taste profile, roast standard, or traceability creates headaches for every operator.
Shipping green coffee across multiple continents, roasting in distant markets, and navigating long lead times means you're always behind.
Traditional sourcing models, complex intermediary chains, and lack of customization drive up costs with no added value to your business.
The OWASIS Solution
OWASIS provides plug-and-play coffee solutions that eliminate complexity. We handle sourcing, roasting, quality assurance, training, and supply chain management — so you can focus on serving exceptional coffee and growing your business.
"We believe coffee businesses should focus on serving customers and growing their operations — while we handle the complexity of sourcing, roasting, quality assurance, and supply chain management."

East Africa to Your Cup
East Africa produces some of the world's most celebrated specialty coffees. Kenya's high-altitude farms deliver exceptional sweetness, vivid acidity, and remarkable complexity unmatched anywhere on earth.
Rather than shipping green coffee across continents and roasting in distant markets, OWASIS sources, develops, and roasts closer to origin. The result: fresher products, shorter lead times, greater flexibility, and more value staying where it belongs — with the farmers and communities who grow it.
Proven at Scale
"From a single espresso machine to 20 tonnes of roasted coffee per day — we've operated at every scale. That's the experience behind every solution we provide."

Founder & Group CEO
Roast Master · Coffee Professional · Entrepreneur
George Wanja has spent over 15 years building his career from the ground up — starting as a barista and advancing through roasting, quality control, production management, and international business development.
He has sourced coffee from more than 10 producing origins, developed over 50 products, managed roasting operations producing up to 20 tonnes per day, and supplied more than 80 coffee businesses across Kenya, Uganda, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia.
Today, George channels that deep industry experience into OWASIS — a company built to solve the problems he witnessed first-hand across the industry for over a decade.
"Great businesses are built by solving real problems. I founded OWASIS to simplify coffee — and to create opportunities that create lasting value for every stakeholder in the chain."
— George Wanja, Founder & Group CEOOur Impact
Behind every bag of OWASIS coffee is a farmer, a family, a community. We believe the best coffee does more than taste good — it does good.

We work directly with smallholder farming communities across Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and DRC — cutting out middlemen and ensuring more of the value reaches the people who grow the coffee.

Our sourcing model prioritises shade-grown, naturally processed coffees wherever possible. By shortening the supply chain, we reduce environmental impact while helping farmers adopt more sustainable practices.

Every batch we supply is documented from farm to shipment. Our buyers always know the origin, farmer group, processing method, altitude, and harvest season — no guesswork, no greenwashing.

We actively support cooperatives and washing station initiatives that reinvest revenue into local schools, healthcare, and infrastructure — because thriving communities grow better coffee.
Client Voices
"We have sourced Kenya AA through OWASIS for our executive lounge for over a year. What sets them apart is not just the coffee quality — it is the reliability. Every shipment arrives with full cupping reports and farm documentation, which our guests genuinely appreciate when we describe the origin story."
"We evaluated six East African suppliers before selecting OWASIS. What made the difference was the consistency of their Uganda Natural — clean, complex, batch after batch — and the personal attention George brings to every enquiry. Six months in, they remain our most reliable African origin partner."
"I have worked with George since before OWASIS launched. His sourcing relationships with cooperatives in Nyeri and Kirinyaga are genuine — not just transactional. Our Kenya AA lots have won back-to-back recognition at the Kenya Specialty Coffee Awards, and the traceability OWASIS provides is a big part of that story."
