Our Home Origin  ·  The Heart of OWASIS

Kenya produces some of the most celebrated specialty coffees in the world. Grown at high altitudes on rich volcanic soils in the Central Highlands, Kenyan coffees are internationally renowned for their vivid acidity, full body, complex fruit notes, and remarkable sweetness.

Key growing regions include Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Embu, and Meru — each producing distinct cup profiles prized by specialty roasters and discerning buyers worldwide. Kenya's unique double-washing processing method and meticulous drying protocols contribute to its exceptional cup clarity.

As a Kenya-based company, OWASIS has direct, established access to trusted producers, exporters, and processing stations across the country's finest growing regions.

Quality & Versatility

Uganda produces exceptional Arabica coffees from the slopes of Mount Elgon and the Rwenzori Mountains — offering excellent quality at competitive pricing suitable for both specialty and commercial applications.

Uganda also produces significant volumes of fine Robusta from the Lake Victoria basin — ideal for espresso blending, adding body, crema, and a distinct chocolatey character to commercial blends that perform at scale in high-volume café environments.

Uganda's growing regions are largely smallholder-farmed, creating opportunities to work closely with producer groups and cooperatives who are committed to quality improvement and sustainable practices.

Our Sourcing Approach

How we source your coffee.

Quality doesn't happen by accident. Our sourcing process is built on established relationships, rigorous evaluation, and transparent communication.

01

Understand Your Needs

We start by understanding your target cup profile, volume requirements, budget, and supply frequency.

02

Identify & Evaluate

We match your requirements to appropriate origins, producers, and grades — then evaluate samples through rigorous cupping.

03

Sample Approval

You receive pre-shipment samples for review and approval. Nothing ships until you're satisfied with the quality.

04

Supply & Repeat

We manage the export documentation, logistics coordination, and ongoing supply to keep your production running smoothly.
